The Centre for Huntington Disease (CHD) provides comprehensive care and support for individuals affected by Huntington disease (HD) and their families by experts in neurology, psychiatry, genetics, genetic counselling and social work.
Additionally, the CHD offers education and information about the disease and referral to community services for patients and families affected by HD.
The expertise of the CHD research team spans the bench-to-bedside continuum, providing opportunities for family participation in cutting-edge clinical research trials. The CHD is also a teaching resource for many disciplines in the medical and basic sciences as well as the university and lay community.
